US/Israeli spy working for China?

On 11 July, the FBI held a press conference to reveal the contents of an indictment which had been sealed up until that time on the grounds of secrecy. US prosecutors claim that Gal Luft, a dual citizen of the US and Israel, is an unregistered agent of the Chinese intelligence service (CIS) who, in 2016, tried to recruit an advisor to Donald Trump shortly before he took office as President. The advisor was not named.

Christie Curtis, an acting assistant director of the FBI, claimed that Luft was also involved in trying to arrange sanctions busting deals with Iran and the supply of weapons to armed groups in Libya. Luft was arrested in Cyprus in February, but he was granted bail and absconded. His current whereabouts is unknown.
